WATERTIGHT ELECTRICAL CONDUIT

Protect and extend the life of vital petroleum system electrical and data wiring with the Cable Tight™ wire management system. The electrofusion welding installation process that has been used to create seamless, watertight connections for petroleum pipework systems for over 30 years is now available in a solution designed specifically for petroleum system electrical and data wiring.

REAL ELECTRICIANS, REAL REACTIONS

We setup a demonstration course and invited veteran electrical contractors to compare the new Cable Tight™ System with existing electrical conduit systems. Their combined experience includes hundreds of petroleum-specific electrical installations. See or yourself what these experts had to say.

WATERTIGHT CONNECTIONS, ELECTROFUSION WELDING

Connections between containment sumps, conduit, and fittings are made using the electrofusion welding process. It yields consistent and accurate joints and eliminates any messy glues or adhesives that can be affected by weather or temperature. With the touch of a single button on the welder unit, coils embedded into each fitting are heated and then cooled to meld the individual components into one seamless, watertight connection.

HOW IT WORKS

The electrofusion welding installation process is safe and simple to execute. Check out this quick video on how it works to create watertight joints between pipe, fittings, and containment.

FLEXIBLE AND RIGID CONDUIT, WATERTIGHT SUMP ENTRY

The Cable Tight™ system features HDPE flexible conduit coils that are electrofusion welded directly to 6’ sticks of PE coated rigid metal conduit. Whether entering fiberglass or polyethylene containment sumps, the Cable Tight™ system provides a flexible watertight connection.

HDPE AND PE CONSTRUCTION, HIGHLY FLEXIBLE, HIGHLY DURABLE

Cable Tight™ conduits are manufactured using highly durable and corrosion-resistant materials. The conduit’s flexible construction wont crack when bent during cold-weather installation or shatter if accidentally struck by a tool or stepped on after they’ve been laid out on a busy job site. Their robust construction won’t corrode when exposed to high water tables, keeping your vital electrical and data wiring intact, and the station up and running.
